Looking for Feedback
Hi Forum Members,
I asked for feedback on my sphere mailing of the latest e-listing cards (clever way to see who's watching) and I got back some interesting thoughts. Most liked the fire in the fireplace; but were a little distracted by the snow on a sunny sky. Since I always want my photos to look sunny, it may not be something I'll continue. Most didn't care, so I'm not sure at this point. The other comment I received was that the music wasn't upbeat enough or didn't last long enough. Any thoughts about that from your clients?
All that said, I've really been impressed with the product that August puts out and believe this is the best way to connect with your friends and clients without being intrusive. I think a continuing forum with real life suggestions will make the product better and help us all increase our business. Would like to hear from others on this.

My comments on the music are that it sounds like it just stops at what appears to somewhat of a random point on most of the music. I would love to see it end at an ending point in the song.

The music is supposed to fade out perfectly. With all the photos, effects etc. sometimes even fast computers get choked up and cause it to abruptly end. This has to do with how many other apps you have running and other factors that may be stressing your computer's processor. Anyway, I've found for some reason it helps if you have a sound effect in the final scene.

Some of the effects look amazing on certain photos while the same effect looks cheesy or just wrong in another. You just have to use what looks good and not use an effect just to have an effect. We've added many new ones in recent weeks so for any given eCard there should be at least a few that work really well.
